Recent advancements in treatment have improved disease management, although misdiagnosis and delays are still common. A case study of a 59-year-old man highlights the complexities of diagnosis, revealing sensory motor radicular neuropathy and a genetic mutation. Current treatments include gene silencers and stabilizers, with ongoing research into new therapies.
