Dr. Theodoros Mavridis, MD, MSc, PhD is a Consultant Neurologist and Stroke Specialist at Tallaght University Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. He completed his Neurology residency at Eginition Hospital, University of Athens. He holds a Master’s degree with distinction in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and a PhD focused on experimental spinal cord injury. His primary clinical and research interests include Stroke/Cerebrovascular Disorders, Headache Medicine, Neuroimmunology, and Neurosonology. He has received international certification as a Neurosonologist by the European Society of Neurosonology and Cerebral Hemodynamics (ESNCH), and his current practice combines general neurology with advanced vascular diagnostics. He has participated in more than 40 peer-reviewed publications in international journals indexed in PubMed/MEDLINE and serves as a reviewer for over 25 scientific journals. He is also a guest editor and chapter author in books on migraine and first aid and has been involved in several international clinical trials in stroke and headache. Within the EAN, Dr. Mavridis actively contributes across multiple scientific panels. He is a member of the Stroke, Headache, Neuroimmunology, Neurosonology, and Pain Scientific Panels. He currently serves in the Management Group of the Stroke Panel, where he also acts as the e-Learning representative, contributing to the development and dissemination of digital educational content across the EAN eCampus. Dr. Mavridis has delivered over 100 oral and poster presentations in international neurology congresses. His work has been presented at the EAN Congress, International Headache Congress, ESO Stroke Conference, and other prestigious meetings. Committed to academic teaching, he is a guest lecturer at the Medical School of Athens, delivering lectures in Neurology, Neurosurgery, Pharmacology, and First Aid.
