Dr Ed Richfield is a consultant in Elderly medicine with a sub-specialty of movement disorders, working at North Bristol NHS Trust. He completed his medical degree at the University of Liverpool, and post-graduate training in the Yorkshire deanery. His PhD, from Hull-York Medical School, is titled “Palliative care in Parkinson’s disease: developing a needs assessment tool”. He is faculty lead for the Parkinson's Masterclass (advanced) and neuropalliative masterclass at the Neurology Academy and current chair of the British Geriatric Society (BGS) movement disorder special interest group. He is a member of the International Neuropalliative Care Society (INPCS) as chair of the Practice Committee.
