Professor Angelo Antonini is Professor of Neurology at the Department of Neuroscience of the University of Padua and Head of the Movement Disorders Unit, of the Rare Neurological Diseases Center (ERN-RND) and of the European Huntington Disease (EHDN) center at the Neurology Clinic of the University Hospital of Padua. He is also the coordinator of the University of Padua Study Center on Neurodegeneration. His research focuses on the genotypic and phenotypic characterization of patients, on the pharmacology of the dopaminergic system, on neuroimaging and on the cognitive and behavioral aspects of Parkinson's disease, MSA, PSP and Huntington disease. He has been the president of the European section of the Movement Disorders Society. He has published 496 indexed manuscripts and several book chapters with over 24,436 citations, his Scopus H-Index is 81 and is among the top 80 Italian scientists in the field of Clinical Sciences.
