Dr. Guaraldi graduated from the University of Modena and completed advanced training in autonomic nervous system disorders at the University of Bologna, Italy, under the mentorship of Prof. P. Cortelli. He further deepened his expertise through a fellowship at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (Queen Square) in London, UK, under the supervision of Prof. C. Mathias. He has extensive experience in the clinical and laboratory evaluation of patients with Parkinsonian syndromes (including Parkinson’s disease, multiple system atrophy, and dementia with Lewy bodies) and autonomic failure. He currently works in the Autonomic Unit at the University of Bologna and is also involved in the management of patients at the Movement Disorders Clinic of the same institution. Since 2019, Dr. Guaraldi has been a core member of the multidisciplinary team at the Amyloidosis Center of the IRCCS Ospedale Sant’Orsola Malpighi, University of Bologna—one of Italy’s leading referral centers for amyloidosis. His role reflects a strong commitment to comprehensive patient care and to advancing translational research in neurology.
