Melinda Magyari is the director of The Danish Multiple Sclerosis Registry, a consultant neurologist at the Danish Multiple Sclerosis Center, University Hospital Copenhagen, Rigshospitalet and Professor at the University of Copenhagen. Her major research area is multiple sclerosis and other inflammatory disorders of the central nervous system, with a special interest in changing epidemiology, gender differences, and real-world evidence. Over the past years, Melinda Magyari has been involved in epidemiological studies addressing questions regarding comorbidities, reproductive issues, and risk factors in multiple sclerosis. Her current research focuses on observational studies investigating the effectiveness, safety, and socioeconomic consequences of disease-modifying therapies in multiple sclerosis. She is strongly involved in international collaborations with other multiple sclerosis registries. She is a member of several national and international scientific committees, including the Neuroepidemiology and MS Scientific Panel of the European Academy of Neurology.
