I am director of the Multiple Sclerosis Center of Catalonia (Cemcat) at Vall d’Hebron University Hospital in Barcelona (Spain), Professor of Neurology at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya (UVic-UCC), and head of the Neuroimmunology Research Group at Vall d’Hebron Research Institute. I have authored over 800 publications and led more than 150 clinical trials. I currently co-chair the Board of the European Charcot Foundation. My recognitions include the 2022 John Dystel Prize, the 2023 Charcot Award, and other honors for excellence in multiple sclerosis research and clinical care.
