Simona Sacco

Simona Sacco is a neurologist and professor at the University of L’Aquila in Italy, where she leads the Department of Neurology and Stroke Unit. She served as President of the European Stroke Organisation (2024–2026) and held key roles in leading headache and stroke societies. Since 2024, she’s Editor-in-Chief of Cephalalgia. Author of over 400 publications, she is dedicated to improving care for people with stroke and headache.
